【Harpsichordist】
Born in Tokyo in 1971, Mariko graduated in piano in Japan and moved to Italy in 2000 to continue her studies in harpsichord with Edoardo Bellotti at the F. Vittadini of Pavia and with Fabio Bonizzoni at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, where she graduated. She has participated in Organ and Improvisation courses in Italy and in Germany.
Mariko has recorded with the Radio Svizzara Italiana and has recordings both as a soloist and as a continuo player. In 2005, she played the Chorales of J. S. Bach in collaboration with the Sächsisches Vocalensemble Dresda directed by Matthias Jung at the Santa Maria della passione church of Milan.
She has collaborated with Fabio Bonizzoni on the CD "The Art of Fugue" and toured with La Risonanza with repertoire such as Handel’s Messiah, Montiverdi’s Vespro della beata Vergine, Corelli’s Concerti grossi and with Vivaldi’s Gloria in Spain, Holland, France, Switzerland and Italy. She has also appeared in festivals such as the "Semana de Música Religiosa de Cuenca", the "Oude Muziek Festival" and the "Saint Michel en Tiérache".
She has worked as Harpsichordist in the Milano Classica orchestra da camera (2004 to 2011)

She works as Church Organist. From 2001 Organist at the Catholic church Sant’Ildefonso in Milan. In 2002 she participated the summer course of Organ Academy in Smarano and started to study Organ and improvvisation with Edoardo Bellotti. From 2005 she started work at the Korean Protestant church Chan-Yang of Milan as the Organist. From 2008 also at the Evangelica riformata nel sottoceneri di Vacallo church in Switzerland From 2012 also at the Evangelica Valdese church of Milan . |
【Faith】
In 1994 She accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour and she was baptized in the Church of Christ in Tachikawa(Tokyo).
In 1997 she marred with Nobuyuki Uchimura and transfered the member of Zion Protestant Church in Nakano. In 2000 She went to Milan to study Harpsichord and early music. and transfered to the member of the Korean Protestant Church Chan-Yang in Milan. In 2003 after her study she was sent as missionary with her husband,Pastor Nobuyuki Uchimura, to Milan from Tokyo (from Japanese Protestant Church Zion in Nakano, Tokyo, to the Korean Protestant Church Chan-Yang in Milan) |

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
